Healthy ageing become more and more a part of society. It is a demand made through the everlasting wish of becoming older and more healthy, but also the need in of staying away from hospitals or health-care facilities because there are better ways to spend your recourses. The question of how to age healthy takes up a very important place in almost every nation or society. But can we also look on how the built environment should react on this question?
The city-centers and boulevards resemble a bit on how society thinks about the built environment for the past, current, and time to come. These places are the heart of the city, so shouldn’t we pay more attention to it in terms of healthy ageing?
